Strachan purchased a small shareholding in Fleming & Co. in 1987 and as managing director has been responsible for the re-birth of the 104-year-old company by using his skills, knowledge, dedication and determination. He introduced a viable product range, recruited an excellent staff team and provided a good quality service, which customers have now come to expect and are never disappointed.

In 2002 the Hill family acquired the total shareholding and Strachan is committed to the ongoing growth and development of the company and looks forward to the launch of a number of exciting new products.

Douglas joined Fleming and Company in 1988 and is committed to the success and growth of our roadmarking products. As a valued member of our sales team, Douglas has many years' experience and knowledge of our complete product range which covers contractors' tools & equipment, protective clothing, janitorial & traffic management supplies. His friendly manner and outgoing nature has led to a good working relationship with all our customers. He is now looking forward to promoting our exciting new Road Stud range and further developing our customer base.

Peter joined Fleming and Company in 1992 when the company expanded into the North East of England. Prior to joining Flemings Peter had many years experience with national distributors supplying to the construction industry and local authorities. He and his team at Newcastle depot successfully established the business in the area, which resulted in the acquisition of larger premises in 1997.

Peter manages the depot with great enthusiasm, with his knowledge of the industry and hands on approach our customers are guaranteed the expected high levels of service. He was appointed a director in 2002 and looks forward to the continued success of the company.
